Interesting words from a subordinate commander within the Mahdi Militia:

"'People are becoming thirsty for peace, for security, right now,' Hussein said. 'We all depend on the government and the security forces.'"

U.S. success or failure will likely hinge on the truth of his words - and the ability of US and ISF to be seen as the providers of that security.
