The way globalization is SUPPOSED to work...

Companies go to where labor is cheaper. Cheap labor organizes and wages are forced to raise. More educated citizens prod the government for higher living standards (which includes less pollution). Companies move to where labor is cheaper and the process starts anew. The increase in consumers sustains the growth and more people are pulled out of poverty. Heck, sometimes it seems like this stuff might actually work...
